So much has been added since the last release. I finally feel like it’s about ready to release to people for testing. I need people that want to play through every inch of the game and can send me a list of bugs they find that I may have missed. If interested please let me know. Testers will be listed in the credits at release and depending on how much you do I’ll probably give you a free copy.
Content:
Crafting/Harvesting: You can now collect resources throughout the land and craft items and equipment at various locations. Resources can be found by mining, chopping wood, gathering plants, and fishing. Monsters also now drop specific materials. These materials can be mixed together to create items, weapons, armor, and more.
Alchemy: Craft items for healing, offense, and defense made of plants and animals. (Items)
Smithing: Craft weapons and armor made of metal. (Metal Weapons, Heavy Armor)
Woodcrafting: Craft weapons made of wood. (Bows, Staves)
Outfitting: Craft armor made of plants and fibers. (Light Armor)
Anatomizing: Craft weapons and armor made of bones, scales, etc. (Medium Armor)
Artificing: Craft accessories made of stones, gems, etc. (Accessories)
Magicking: Craft equipment and other miscellaneous items with Ancient Words of Magick. (Tomes, Magic items)
Cooking: Cook food with ingredients to create food that can be eaten for buffs. (Food)
Guises: The Trickster guise has been added. It does not have a field skill, nor does it learn skills, instead pulling from a random pool of skills for either harming an enemy, causing a negative status, or healing/buffing an ally.
Quests:
New Quest - Enigma’s Shopping List: Located in the hermit’s library in Lyset Barrens, after completing this quest the player will obtain the Trickster guise and Enigma’s Scythe.
Many quests have been updated with more engaging story-lines and better rewards.
Battles:
The first 5 Guises have been updated.
Wanderer: Added more harmony between skills as well as adding new Active and Passive skills.
Beastmaster: Small fixes to skills and added Passive skills.
Oracle: Added harmony between support and damage, added Judge and Inquisition (two attack skills) and Passive skills.
Rogue: Small fixes to skills and added Passive skills.
Disciple: Small fixes to skills and added Passive skills.
Warden: Added the rest of the skills and Passive skills.
Skills:
Wardens now have a field skill which lets them turn into a beast when interacting with special objects marked with a pawprint. This will allow them to pass through formerly impassable areas and perform certain animal-only tasks.
Added the glitch power “Phase” which allows the player to phase through certain impassable objects.
Added the corrupt power “Replace” which allows the player to turn NPCs into animals and objects.
Systems:
Knowledge: There is now a Knowledge skill type for each character that they either learn through story or from books, allowing them to talk to people to see new dialogue branches, speak to people who speak a different language, bypass locked areas, and more.
There are now three currencies on the main menu: Durons, Resources, and Glitch Essences.
Titles: You can now gain titles from completing quests and other tasks. These can be changed in the Status menu and provide stat bonuses.
Updated and added more puzzles.
Added two new enemies: Blizard (Densetsu Forest), Armordillo (Lyset Barrens)
Ambient light and FX have been added in many zones.
Various glitches have been fixed… hurray!
