Release Notes for Remaster V0.1


The Release version of the Remastered Legacy build “Midnight Investigator”
Current goal was to recreate the 2015 build using the new versions tool set
Notable missing features:

  • Phone calls are missing

  • Death Animations are missing (still audio and states)

  • Victory screens are missing but the Audio and states are still active

  • Chica has been removed

New additions nor found in the Legacy build

  • New menu

  • New loading screens

  • Power management system

  • Door Controls

  • Light controls

  • AI has been reworked to follow a more traditional FNAF system

  • Hour 1 and 2 are added with alterations

  • Situational dialog system added (You character can comment on stuff she sees)

  • Death takes 2 hits instead of 1 giving you a small recovery if you get caught

  • Full environment Rebuilt in Unreal Engine 4 using the Main Fazbear tool set “HIMToolbox”

What to expect going forward

I do plan to continue to support and update the remaster adding new Hours and content on a semi regular basis
The next planed update is the “Chica Rebirth” Update which intends to add Hour 3, Chica, Death Animations and hopefully Phonecalls, Extras unlocks

Blep, incase you havent seen it before

Demo is getting closer! The feedback from the testers has really helped refine the mechanics and gameplay. just need to finalise the story and do some cleaning then it may be ready for the public!!!

The game is now 1:1 with origional in lenght after only a couple hours (Thanks in no small part to the work done in the Main game and Mikes Not Home) It's just missing phone calls and Puppet ghosting through walls

Public Alpha demo is currently in private testing. Once I receive full feedback and bring it to a better state it will be released on here and steam

Early Access build of the remaster should be up tomorrow :) Some of the new features are an "Easier" hour 1 and new mechanics (Hello power systems, Doors and lights)
