Released Technical Patch 1.15.5

Dear shipmates,

After seeing an increase in the number of users encountering the startup issue we described a few weeks back, we have finally decided to release a technical patch to the general public.

This 1.15.5 patch release is a rollup of a number of fixes that were never released via GameJolt before:

1.15.5.1

  • Fixed crash at startup that was affecting some users on non-English Windows

    • Merci à Daniel Gasperment pour son aide!

1.15.4.1

  • Fixed slow rendering issue on additional Intel HD Graphics cards

    • Thanks to Wyatt Rosenberry for his help in debugging the issue!

1.15.3.1

  • Fixed extremely slow rendering with Intel HD Graphics cards

    • Thanks to Oxurus for his help in debugging the issue!

Users that have been having issues with Floating Sandbox are strongly advised to install this patch. If you have not had any issues so far, then you don't need to install this patch - just wait until the next release (...and news about that will come soon!).

Note: you will likely be bothered by your anti-virus software stating that the download might be malicious - this is because the anti-virus does not know who has produced the installer and thus can't trust it. This will change as soon as we get a code-signing certificate, but in the meantime, unfortunately, your only option is to trust us when we say that the installer is malware-free. For added security, after downloading the installer you might want to scan it with Windows Defender to verify that indeed it does not contain any known malware.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
