Remake in the works...

Firstly, thank you to all those who have played not only the original Dead Wave, but the series of games that followed. I’ve had many messages from players asking if I was going to continue this game. As of the last couple of days I have this to annouce! - Dead Wave - Origins production has begun!

Dead Wave - Origins (as probably you’ve guessed by the title) is a remake of my original Dead Wave which players were to fond of. With all new graphics, an updated engine and new game-play mechanics, Origins will hit GameJolt in the near future. However, starting from tomorrow the game will be available as a developers demo for people just to play around with.

What the game will include;

  • Player model

  • 2d/3d graphics for objects, this includes normal mapping for more detail

  • Zombie model BLOCKS (Orange Blocks as placeholders)

  • An arena to run around in

  • New VFX and SFX to conform to a more professional standard

And that’s about it for now! I hope to hear from you all soon and again, thank you!

  • Ash

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698
