>The new species survives in an extremely hostile environment. The capricious orography of Osiris-1 includes vast swampy plains where a humid climate with a lot of haze prevails. Plants have a very difficult time surviving in such an environment, so they have evolved lower limbs (ancient roots?) that allow them to move easily through the swamp in search of food. There are indications that they can still photosynthesize, but they have evolved to an insectivorous diet that constitutes 75% of their nutrition. They have long filaments ending in a kind of cocoons with which they catch insects with great speed and skill. Strangely enough, they also have a large eye in the center of their bulbous body. These cyclopean plants introduce the captured insects through an opening they have in their upper part to be digested inside the bulb.
>We haven't yet sighted animal life, let alone predators, so these plants are at the top of the food chain in the region where they live.

Okay, let's go back to Earth. 😅
Drawing made completely in photoshop from scratch. It has taken me a long time to publish something decent for two reasons:
1) I had a serious art block after halloween due to a significant lack of motivation.
2) This drawing has been very complicated to make. It's a complex scene with a lot of difficult things to get right. It took me a long time to complete it. There's no element taken from another image, it's all done with photoshop tools (and a lot of patience).
The planet Osiris-1 is an invention of mine.
Thanks to all of you who had the patience to read it all. I hope you like my drawing.
Bye!
