Recently, I posted a poll to the One Night at Dead Meme's 3 devlog asking if anyone would like to see a early access demo of the game, with limited content. The response was overwhelmingly positive (I mean, only three people voted and they all voted yes), and they are probably expecting something. However, I have decided not to go through with the demo plan.
But why tho?
Personally, I think a demo for a game with less than half an hour of gameplay is a pretty bad idea. A demo of such a game would already be at least 75% of the game, and the full release wouldn't really add much. It would be a disappointment.
I'm sorry if you were expecting something from me, but I've made up my mind, and a demo will not be taking effect. The full game will release in April (Maybe March if I complete the game early), and I've actually taken a few big steps in development that made me think that this might not take as long as I thought it would. My apologies for any disappointed fans of the series, but I just don't think a demo is worth it.
Sincerely, your apologetic game dev,
