I still standby my point, I do not feel comfortable sharing my art here, even though I’ve been poisoning my art with anti ai filters

I understand that I’m probably never going to be able to escape ai, but the fact that GameJolt went out of its way to VERIFY said community when it KNOWS countless artists have made their homes here disgusts me

Not only that, but there are people on this site who actively use ai, which also disgusts me considering how it threatens the jobs of artists, and is horrible for the environment. I don't know the exact amount of water used to generate an image, but it's still a concern.

Oh yeah, here's the section where I explain why ai is ASS:

Let's start at the beginning: "Data Centers" are the names of the buildings that house the ai servers. You're obviously going to need an abundance of different materials for such buildings. Not only that, but you're going to need open space to place these buildings, which requires clearing out land to make room for them.

"But Vapor, you need land and resources to build EVERYTHING!!" Alright, fair enough, let me explain further:

Whenever you use ai, that's obviously is going to require power, right? Now, take THOUSANDS of those power-needing servers and put them in a data center. Not only are they going to need power, but generating something with ai causes the systems to heat up [probably contributing to global warming], meaning they need constant cooling. And how do you cool these systems off? Most of the time, water is used to do that. You see where I'm going now? And this isn't, like, unusable water, most of the time it's drinking water that we can use.

I'm not going to go looking for the exact example, because I know I'm probably wasting my time arguing with a wall, but I've seen multiple accounts of water scarcity happening in an area, either because data centers are using it all, or an already happening drought being worsened because water is going to the data centres instead of people who NEED it to live. Also, when this happens, water prices skyrocket.

And to oomf who raised a few concerns:

1: Even if GameJolt has forgotten about this community and no-longer agrees with the statement of having this community verified, I still do not feel comfortable sharing my art here, especially considering some of its users post ai generated content.

2: I am not trying to fearmonger, I do apologize if that's what it sounded like in my original post, I just felt as though I should share the explanation as to why all of my art has been removed
