REX Version 1.1.1 Update


REX just received a small update, and the latest version is now 1.1.1 for PC, Mac and Linux.

What has changed:

  • Replaced default Unity icon

  • Background music volume during play has been significantly lowered

  • Improved visual effects on the main menu screens

  • Clickable areas for main menu buttons have been tightened up

  • New “Impossible” AI Easter Egg: hold down the Space Bar when choosing a difficulty to find it. Though, fair warning, each turn takes significantly longer for the computer to make up its mind, because it’s looking six moves ahead ;)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
