REX Version 1.2.4 Adds New Tutorial, New Game Mode, New Music and 32-bit Support!


REX just received a big update, and the latest version is now 1.2.4 for PC, Mac and Linux.

What has changed:

  • New Guided Tutorial
    I realized by watching the Let’s Play videos people were making it wasn’t obvious how to find the instructions, so now there is now a fully animated guided tutorial available to teach you how to play!

  • New Music
    There are two new music tracks to choose from while you play: press “M” on your keyboard during gameplay to cycle through the available songs.

  • New “Duel” Game Mode
    In the brand new Duel Mode, the objective is simply to remove your opponent’s king from the board before they remove yours. But it’s not as easy as it sounds!

  • Support for 32-bit Operating Systems
    REX now runs on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows, macOS and Linux.
