Hello and welcome to the very first devlog for RINSED!
From now on we want to share our work progress with all of you to give you better insights on what we are working on. If you have any ideas for the game or feedback leave a comment below! :)
For me, Felix, this Week is all about caves. Caves are planned as little "Dungeon" like areas. Due to our game not featuring any real fighting, those "Dungeons" are mostly filled with small riddles for you to solve. Some caves might hold treasure while others provide you with rare ressources. Im currently spending this week creating the first cave which wil feature a small riddle and a very pretty little area in the end which will give you access to a very rare ressource! Here are a few pics:
For Finn, our lead coder, this week will be all about finishing our shop system. In shops you will be able to buy and sell all sorts of goods. You can sell the fish you caught or the rare herb you found to make some money! As soon as the shops are finished and bug free, finishing up our networking is the next goal. We both never did an multiplayer game before and wrapping our heads around networking functionality is quite a challenge but we are on a good way!
