RINSED - Devlog #9


Hello there!

Here is a very quick devlog update for you guys :)

Our friends playtested and we got a lot of feedback in the past few days. Most of the feedback was about our movement, overall controls and UI.

This lead to the decision, that before we add more to the game, we spend the next one or two weeks reworking, polishing, and making everything as fun as possible!

That means: A completly new player controller, new sounds and adjustment of old sounds, overworking the UI and button feedback, overworking animations and much more.

We want the game to feel good for everyone and we want it to be as easy to understand as possible but still immersive.

In addition to that, some parts of the map are currently getting a rework and some are getting their final touches!

Below is a picture of a smugglers hideout which is full of treasure and dangerous wildllife ;)

We will report back to you soon and show off what we managed to improve.

Super secret update friday!

Zombies are now a bit... Lets say "more motivated" in the darkness of the night!

Just a little clip of me building a frighter ship! MONONAUTS is a little demo experiment which I made within a few days. Try it out and tell me what you think! :)

Those zip-lines were once used to transport goods from the mountains into the villages below but now they make a great (and fun) shortcut for all adventurers!

Something lurks in the depths of the glow-stone mine... You better pack some torches because you will need one for sure!

Working on a new ship and looking for a name! The best suggestion will make it into the game :)

Post your suggestions on here or over at our discord. A winner will be picked within the next few days!

Exploring uncharted Islands always comes with a risk! What creatures lurk in the dark forests? What treasures await you in the distant ruins?

Make sure to pack some soup because travelling between islands will soon come to RINSED!

In 2019, 6 young adults disappeared in and around Blackwood County, Virginia, USA. 

Now it is all up to you.

I'm more than excited to launch this games EARLY ACCESS! Its really been a passion project for me and I cant wait for your feedback! :)

Made new Flowerpots with different variants for further decorating cities and villages! :)

Soon you will be a part of it.

A little sneak peek on the first Island you will be able to travel to by ship! This island features lush green vegetation, lots of flowers, new wildlife, and of course rare items and a few riddles ;)
