RINSED - Devlog / Changelog for 0.1.8

Hello there!

It's been a while since RINSED has seen its last update so let's waste no time and get right into what has changed!

This update brings a lot of bug fixes, a little bit of new content, and some asset improvements!

First of all: The midlandians have built new ships. The new, way more detailed ship can be found in King's harbor and might take you to new shores soon.

Beards have seen an update too! The overhauled beard models are way more detailed and each beard has gotten its own name in the character creation menu.

Things have changed on the island as well. Crabs no longer walk around aimlessly on the beaches, they now live in small groups protecting their nests! Mud-Crab eggs are rare and can be sold for a good price. Make sure to pack some bait to distract the mother crabs when going for her eggs though!

Speaking of money, a new backpack has been added to the game! The "Bundle-Bag" is supposed to close the gap between the small bag and the knapsack. It is cheaper yet does not provide as much space as the larger backpacks.

Farmers crazy enough to grow food in the harsh conditions of the northern isles often need to use a few tricks to protect their plants! This seaside farmer has stacked lots of rocks high enough to protect his crops from the cold wind.

Those zip-lines were once used to transport goods from the mountains into the villages below but now they make a great (and fun) shortcut for all adventurers!

Painted some new headers for our crafting system! Survival, Cooking, Crafting... Can you guess what image is for what category? :D

Happy Devruary! Devruary Day 4 celebrates @ElPichon ! They're just a bird who likes to draw! They're also the developer behind The Bunny Graveyard II and Chunky JUMP!. We also have a question for the devs of Game Jolt: How Did You Learn Game Dev?

Working on a new ship and looking for a name! The best suggestion will make it into the game :)

Post your suggestions on here or over at our discord. A winner will be picked within the next few days!

(The name should fit into the game's world)

Happy Devruary! Devruary Day 5 celebrates @ExpoDev ! He's the founder of PMH Interactive and is working on The Obsessive Shadow and more. We also have a question for the devs of Game Jolt: What keeps you making games when it gets tough?

Soon you will be a part of it.

If you ever wanted to get a better/closer look at your nemesis, this is her! During development I nicknamed her "Emma"

Happy Devruary! Devruary Day 6 celebrates @Narwhalnut ! They program bugs (in the game Insectile)! We also have a question for the devs of Game Jolt: What dev habit helps you the most?

Released a very little very unfinished something!

Medieval times with zombies was always a thing I dreamed off so I messed around with the idea a bit in the past few weeks. This is by no means a finished game! But if you have fun with it: Go ahead!
