Robo-Apocalyptic Physics-Based Horror Game with a pinch of Tower Defense

What genre does The Forge fall under? Robo-apocalyptic physics-based horror game with a pinch of tower defense. Play Now

  • Post Apocalyptic: You’re trying to protect a group of human survivors living in the ruins of a post-apocalyptic foundry/scrapyard.

  • Physics Based: You control is a giant electromagnetic crane and can pick up and toss metal objects (such as robots or cars) around or stack up metal scraps.

  • Horror: The ominous slow moving buzzsaw robots sneak towards the unwitting survivors, seeking to put an end to the worthless meatbags.

  • Tower Defense: You can stack up metal scraps to form walls to slow down the robots. You can also create denser scrap blocks using the crusher for even tougher walls. Future releases of The Forge may include actual turrets and weapons that can be built by the survivors using robot parts and metal scraps.

Here's how to type words with fingers. Now I can start making the real levels. There will be buzzsaws and lava floors.

Just started on this jam today. Made a happy little anthropomorphic finger character, ready to do some typing.

Couch co-op for up to 10 players, who all control anthropomorphic fingers. Step on the special button to randomize the appearance of the finger and distinguish it from the other fingers.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Drawn in Piskel using my mouse. Whaddya think?

OK, this starts to be too tricky puzzle already :D

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

I made a small jungle house.
