ROUND 2 (Part 2)


Now that XL is (almost) on the backburner proper, I suppose it's about time this got a bit more traction.

Bad news is that I don't really have anything to show off gameplay-wise.

Good news is that I can confirm that some more characters got updated, and some familiar faces join the party.

Withered Foxy

He's got a few tweaks in his code to make him more likely to show up sooner, but I did also adjust his attack speed to account for the potential chaos a full roster will cause.

Same things tweaked as Withered Foxy. Suppose I could mention the updated lighting for his jumpscare is quite the glow-up he (and the rest of the pre-XL roster) needed.

Still might need to tweak his stats a bit, but not much has changed for the catalyst for this side project.

Making the jump from the XL variant, with a few new surprise mechanics to boot! Don't worry, though, the means of fending him off is still as straightforward as you can get with this classic.

You can't really have one without the other.

That's about it for now. May be more exciting things in the future for this game, but for now I'll just keep chipping away at the roster.

Next up

First signs of danger.

New look, new direction.

While I chip away at the code for XL, I might as well show off the fruits of another thing I had tinkered with: modding custom music into Bionicle Heroes.

That time of year again.

Yeah, we're doing this.

So, Plan B: The remainder of tonight will run V1 of a solo OCN mode, with an updated version coming tomorrow during the end of the con.

(And a further refined public release of this later on. If there's interest.)

New project is having a fun, early outing.

I know it's completely unintentional, but I swear this is the universe trying to convince me to dig my old handiwork out of retirement and do something with him.
