Salne has arrived at the school, hoping his classmates are nice. As soon as he enters the school, the teacher greets everyone. The teacher introduces himself as Tola. He does the roll call and insults Salne because of his name while complimenting the names of the others. He begins the lesson with history.

Ktaili says bye to Salne's parents and exits the hole. Another sailun notices him leaving and realizes that Ktaili has been going down that hole often. He gets suspicious so he decides to report it. It cuts back to Salne's history class. In the 0th year Creatoka creates Tallova along with 660 sailuns (this takes one year) who have quickly civilized themselves. However, two demons (Salne's parents) ascended from the Netherworld and murdered an innocent man. The demons fled into exile and after eight years they are still being hunted.

The students are given a one-minute breaktime. The students insult Salne. After recess, they learn about the laws. The students ask him to come with them to someplace. Salne agrees to come. The suspicious sailun informs the Leader of his findings. The Leader shares his opinion on it being suspicious. The suspicious sailun is ordered to investigate and reports any findings. The Leader makes up a fantasy, believing Narasak to be a mole.

Salne's classmates attempt to kill him, but he manages to survive and he escapes to the safety of the cave. Once there, he tells his family what happened that day. Salne begs them to change his name and after they do, he tells Narasak how he survived. While this happens, that annoying suspicious sailun investigates the hole, shocked by his findings.

The suspicious sailun tells the Leader of his findings, confirming that Ktaili is indeed a mole. He also tells the Leader about Salne. They decide to murder Narasak and Ebthas and see how Salne reacts. They gather their followers, saying that the next day will go down in history.

The next day, Salne heads for the school with his parents informing him to be careful. The teacher takes the roll. The students are shocked to find that Salne is alive and plotting his revenge. They begin the lesson with math. Ebthas and Ktaili find out that Narasak has refused to stop by today. Narasak's corpse drops down and the army invades the cave. A big battle begins. After insulting Salne, the students start to learn about the process of reproduction. Ebthas is stabbed by a knife. This distracts Ktaili long enough for the Leader to kill him as well. Salne leaves school and sees the sun getting real low, hoping to show it to his mother and his father one day. Salne enters and sees the bodies of his parents. The miraculously-still-alive Leader realizes that Salne IS infact their child. He decides to let everyone know. He asks Salne how it feels to have just finally served upon him and his family. He also tells Salne that his final life lesson should be that the good side always wins. He attempts to kill Salne, but Salne's newfound rage allows him to easily dispatch the Leader and his small army one-by-one.

Salne, now a grieving mess buries his parents, lamenting about how they always wanted to see the beautiful evening sky again. Salne arrives at a cliff. Several sailun make an attempt on his life. He starts killing them in gruesome fashion. He begs them to stop while absorbing their souls. The sailun refuse to listen, so Salne decides to not speak again. He decides that the only way to stop his suffering was to "end it all" and eventually destroys Tallova.
