4th-wall breaking, eternally-smiling, white-clad RPG creatures who judge the protagonist's and player's actions, originally appearing early in the game as an ally of sorts, but after witnessing how evil and murderous the protagonists were, as well as being noticably absent after the death of their younger brother (Papyrus and Valerie) they become the game's final boss and are determined to stop the protagonist once and for all.
