I had someone play-test Somber a few days ago and I decided I wasn’t happy with the results.
This lead to finally make something I wanted to make for a long time, a “sentient” horror game, with an interesting art style.
I went for a texture-less monochrome art style, and think it payed off well.
It looks nice while also allowing me to focus less on art assets and more on gameplay and scare factor.
This game is making great progress and I’ve already made 2x as much gameplay time in 4 days than I have made for Somber in 3 months.

I’m leaving gamejolt for Itch.io since it’s less buggy and has a LOT more features and page customization options.
I hope you guys give this game a go once the demo drops, which won’t be so far away ;).
