Today's the last Sunday of November.
Now, I've making progress on the demake and here's one of the neat things I've doing: a blackjack minigame. Why? We need something that lets you get money easy and faster, plus I love card games and it would at least have a good excuse on doing something different.
Now, programming this is going to be tough because for one, this is RPG Maker 2k. It's going to very limited so this is going to suck HARD. And for two, aces. If you played the game, you know why would this be an issue, but in case for people who don't know, in blackjack, Aces is a special card and that it can be both an 11 or 1 given if your hand would normally bust if said Ace is worth 11 points. This is especially a problem for consecutive Aces since because they're only 1 points, you could effectively get 21 Aces and no way would I wanna program the most luckiest (And most tedious) card combination in the game, so I made the Ace Rule. The rule itself is basically ALL Aces are worth 1 point UNLESS you want turn one and ONLY one Ace into 11 points. This doesn't apply to an Ace you first receive in the beginning of the game.
Because of it being something I designed like around Friday, of course it's in it's bug-testing phase. Of course, I'm trying to fix the bugs but hoo wee, there's some ideas for some comics. Later on, I might redesign it so that way there are absolutely no redundancies in its' code and it's polished enough.
So see you guys in December.
