Seb's Devlog #142: 8/4/2024

Hello August.


Okay so I didn't do much for the update, BUT I'll get there eventually. It's just that JAR's looking REALLY attractive right now and sing and dance, not enough resources to make development progress well.

Okay, it MIGHT change but this is a difficult task to do because I want to ensure two things, 1. they actually do the stuff that's needed for the game. No plagiarism, no foul work under my team, and NO leeching. And 2. the amount should be fine enough for the game. Too much is just asking for trouble, but too little is while significant, it still isn't meeting the standards for it.

But to JAR, this is because of tilesets and given the current progress of it, yeah, it's looking presentable at the moment, meaning that we can get some screenshots when the time comes and I think it's ready to be presented just yet. And that's only in bits and pieces that is.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
