Not much happened, but there has been progress in other projects. Just... not really anything that necessarily involves either JA projects.
Except I've been coming back to this one project and it's like "what if I revived 'Zane's Desperate Hunger for Lesbian Pussy' but it's a fusion of dead projects?" Funny enough, one of the old ideas for JA, which is to have multiple unlockable party members, is going to be a feature to that project. Hell, I've been designing it for like the past two weeks, excluding the fact that I've practically do 6 days in a week to walking outside, thanks PoGo.
I wouldn't say it's like ZDHFLP because while it does focus Zane, Zane's more of one half of the game. Personally what I like about it is that it has a completely different gameplay flavor compared to say JA or even JABE. If I had to describe what it is, it's more of a mixture of Pokemon but also Shin Megami Tensei. Originally it was going to be more inspired by Pokemon, but then trying to implement moves became a giant pain in the ass considering how there's around 934 moves and it might not even be necessary to add them all in, especially for signature moves that aren't even usable because the species that would have it doesn't appear in the game. Not to mention, it would have to balance with other skills like Agi, Bufula, or even Zandyne, so then I went back and thought it over, finally got to the conclusion and stick to a more Persona approach but also sprinkle in moves from Pokemon in. Essentially, dumb it down to only 3 Physical elements and 10 Magical Elements, where Psychic and Almighty are a part of the total.
Okay, to keep the devlogs not repeat themselves, I'm gonna use a notepad to log everything I write on here, so this way I don't have to look at EVERY logs to check for something I need generally. This way, I can check if I said something general about it and if I feel like elaborating about it, check that log, and if that one doesn't do what I want, make a devlog about it. Easy.
I'm going to put the JA animation on hold, because I haven't found any VAs for it, which I honestly need because I feel like if I really wanna go nuts for voicelines for JAR, I gotta find a way to get a cast for it, but also figure out on touching the Sound Manager for the game. The thing is that I want to make a option to mute voices in the game, so this way, if you hate EVERY VA for some reason, you can mute the voices without having to mute SE as well. My plan is making a VE so this way, the game distinguishes what's an SE and what's an VE. Then, once I figure that shit out, test the stuff, and then fetch a voice cast for it. I can't pay but at least it puts any money fear to rest. For now. But on the other side, I'm gonna do some animation shit someday. Yes. Someday. I got something else to do on tomorrow and the 1st sooooo...
