Woopity doo, more words, more time to read! No Tomodachi Life segment this time because I'm bored as fuck enough not to play it. What more do you want?
Now, let's talk about views. I don't care, but ehh, it's just numbers that people care way too much about. I don't ever record exactly how many views does this post or that post makes in this specific amount of time. But by hindsight, these don't make views compared to devlogs where I mention drama or whenever the JA team is directly mentioned. This isn't something I'm going to worry about, since it's not something I care enough to aim for. If I wanted views, then this obviously wouldn't be something I would work my ass on or at least something I work with care.
But screw the stats: let's get to ACTUAL content. I've been thinking of this idea for JABE in which there might be a "New Game Plus" scenario. I say that in quotes because how it works is that you just start a new game after you've beaten the game with Ending A. Ending A is basically the ending I wanted and previously thought could be the only ending for the game originally, while Ending B isn't something I thought of for the game originally, because at the time, I didn't think what would be the exact end of the game. How does Jonathan go Point A to B. If anything, I would probably love writing the end of the game very much because at least there are ideas of what I want to execute that would at least add more to the world that I wanted to write.
I don't like playing my stuff. Okay, well, it's a thing that I have that I don't really like rewatching the same stuff I make because again, I made the thing, so being in the same seat as an viewer is kinda off-putting, and egotistical if anything. Though, I keep coming back to the projects like the JA 5th Aniversary game, which is still on progress to this day, because again, too much projects, one's gonna get the end of the stick, because some things in them are something I'm so proud of that I want to keep replaying them over and over. Now, why come back to it? Well... It's the credits for the game. "The credits?" I assume the reader is asking. "The credits makes you go back to it?" And that's because it's not the same as the other credits or remotely the same as JABE's credits. Unlike JABE, because it's made in RPG Maker 2k3 and if you use it under EasyRPG, you can actually translate the game's credits easily. Plus, it's a screen that I made that includes lyrics that you can read both in its original language and its translation along with it. For JABE, it would be harder since there's not a easy way of translating video text into another language. ...Or that's what my present self thinks. But that makes me wonder whether or not if I'm capable of making that sense of pride for the majority of the content of the game. Can I or can I not, that is indeed a puzzling question.
Aside from projects I did make, currently, I'm working with another guy named Jon (Ha ha ha. I'm sure everybody's going to say the same shit I've said.) with this project that's going to switch development in Unity. Now, I've never touched Unity. I also never touched C# in my life, so if I do manage to stumble and fumble as a guy who's credited for programming, mainly because I was in the project hired for the art, not my C# programming skills, it's probably my luck.
That's it for today. See you on the next week.
