'SEMI-PAUSED DEVELOPMENT'

I know this is another project being paused, but this one has a reason other than motivation. And the solution is also a nice thought. This game has always had one big challenge for me (compared to my other games and projects). AI. The Angel in this game has complex AI, and it needs to be perfect in order for it to move realisticly. I have tried over and over again, but due to my lack of experience with complex AI, I cannot do it. Yet.. I fully believe that once I try more concepts; more games; more AIs, I will be able to come back to this game and complete the AI needed. I don’t personally feel that continuing and continuing until I finally get it right is the best use of my time, I feel that gradually learning more complex AI through making a game (or series of games) that have gradually increasing difficulties and complexities of AI. This way, I am able to see and show progress in a greater and more rewarding fashion. I will be continuing to update this game every-so-often, and that’s why I am deeming this game: ‘semi-paused’. I will test ideas and new AI tricks when I need or want, and I will update you on that in a devlog if it is considerable enough.

Thank you,
Any suggestions and comments are still appreciated,
From Aaron (hourglassStudios)

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

If you have more of an acquired taste, the restaurants in Niravasi have you covered! Maybe skip the salad bar, though.

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)
