-Joke.
Has a punchline, intended to be funny.

-Joking.
Not being serious, can also refer to telling a joke.

-Messing around.
Being intentionally nonserious/silly, doesn't have to have a punchline.

-Edgy humour.
Typically making light of things that are seen as dark or frowned upon, but also has a punchline or other reason for it to be amusing. Saying blatantly offensive stuff isn't edgy or dark humour, it is the below.

-Shock humour.
Different from edgy/dark humour. Shock humour is frankly pretty lazy, and just relies on shocking someone with offensive stuff. (Like.. Idk, stuff that's not just dark but purposely offensive.).

-Absurd humour.
Humour based off of being so absurd it's funny. For example, a cat doing taxes is amusing because it's so absurd & unrealistic.

honestly the only reason i made ts was because of js blatant bigotry being called fuckin edgy humour when its just a hatecrime.
