Serious post about this game's future (read below)

I've been thinking about saying this for a while now, I just felt hesitant considering how I thought people would react. As y'all may or may not know, I am not very happy with the state of this game.

I'm very happy that people enjoyed it in the end, but, I think it has a lot of flaws. Most of them are personal to me, but they are still flaws. It's not just the bad AI, bad jumpscares, bad balancing, yata yata, that makes me not like this.

It's the fact that I think I could've done so much more with it in the end. Which is why I've been considering this.

Should I try remaking this game with a simpler scope? This would not mean the removal of NW as is, I would still update and make sure the old version is balanced with fixed AI. However, just for the sake of argument.

Should I remake the game again? I would like to get y'all's input first.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
