Shenanigans Multiplayer has received an update!


And a pretty nice update too, but no, this STILL isn’t the promised content update I kept telling about to fellow people that played with me, instead this is an step towards that update, since it includes many under the hood and not so under the hood changes, and I am pretty sure you will like some of these changes.

  • Redesigned main menu, allows to change mouse sensitivity, and finer control over quality settings!

  • Max player count in room changed to 5.

  • The dawn of Derps Derpingtons has ended. The game automatically generates an nickname on startup. Can also generate a new nickname manually using the Generate button.

  • Can create your own rooms with your own set player count(can be set to 1 too)

  • Rooms in room brower show players in room and max slots.

  • Room names are grammatically correct now.

  • Flashlight more useful

  • Player names face you, no more mirrored confusing names, works vertically too!

  • You can no longer see your own nametag.

  • Screenshot mode - press P

  • More death notifications

  • x has spawned is removed. Replaced with connect messages.

  • The creator tool has been overhauled. The clunky Q\E interface has been removed, and you can select the spawnable with a nice menu activated by R. Note that this will change in the future, to add spawnables in groups.

I think this is it. It seems like a pretty big update, and it put a lot of thought into it. I hope you enjoy, and invite friends!
