Shift v2.0

Hey. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Don’t worry, I’m still at work, just on a really big project.

Before I start, I’d like to mention Wyre Interactive’s subreddit, as well as the more recent Tumblr, and also my Tumblr, which is like a more casual version of the Wyre Tumblr. Make sure you check these for news on my next game(s).

Anyway, let’s get into it;

  • Fixed a very, very minor bug which made the timer not work on the painter game. Nothing game breaking, just a minor issue. You know. Not much.

  • Added an options menu.

    • This contains two audio sliders, and the mod menu button, which it replaces.

    • Added a reset mods button.

  • Added a slight Vignette.

  • Added a slight Chromatic Abberation effect.

  • Put a little tag on the bottom right of the level submitted by DarkBloodbane.

  • Made the menu resolution independant. In normal speak, it means that the game’s menu will look identical on every monitor (assuming it’s running at the same aspect ratio.)

  • Tweaked the cursor size.

This should be the last version, unless the game suddenly explodes. I doubt it though.

Again, make sure you check out the afformentioned subreddit and Tumblrs for more info on my next game. What is my next game? Well, it’s an open world FPS by the name of Overwritten, and I’m quite happy with how it’s turning out.

I’ll probably release another small game at some point soon too.

Have fun!

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?
