Shift v2.1

Well. That wasn’t long.

I found some issues and added some things, but I think this is all for now. Maybe one day I could make like a puzzle idea submitter ingame, but honestly I don’t really think it’d be worth it at this point.

Also this isn’t a patch. It was going to be, but then I decided it should be a version up because of all the stuff I added.

  • Added Insane mode, where loading screens are removed.

    • Also added an additional scoreboard to complement this.

  • Added stuff to the Musik easter egg.

    • You can now activate an audio visualiser.

    • There’s now a second, equally terrifying secret within the secret.

    • Also removed a track or two and added some new ones in their place.

  • Added the lens flare effect to the main menu.

  • You are now told if your score isn’t going to be added to Game Jolt leaderboard when you aren’t logged in.

  • Lose screens (both Times Up! and You Lose) are now resolution independent.

  • Made the game look better on 21:9 monitors (it’ll still have black bars either side though).

  • Fixed 5 minute trophy unlocking at one minute.

  • Fixed menu navigation.

  • Tweaked the size of the Submitted by DarkBloodbane text added yesterday.

  • Did some backend stuff to change the way the game loads levels. This should in theory slightly decrease load times, but mainly just clears up the console a bit.

Now for the obligitory plug of Wyre’s subreddit as well as my Tumblr and Wyre’s Tumblr.

Have fun, and keep a look out for my next project.

Thanks,

Dec_bot.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

These are background sprites I've created for a game I'm working on at school ^w^ Click on the post to see how the sprites connect. You won't regret it! (personally, I think it's pretty heheh)

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
