I was talking to a friend, and the conversation became about how sometimes the community fails to handle sensitive topics with care. Take old Vegaful's birthday party scene for example. Or the mod that came about because of this, Vessel Aspect.

I remembered that I'm also guilty of this with this mod's ending, which, in case you don't know or can't remember, has Hart fight Five, and winning would result in him walking towards her as the screen fades to black, with obvious implications.

This actually wasn't what I had planned initially, since I had wanted Hart to simply walk into the building without the player following him, and the screen would fade to black then.

Is the current ending accurate to what Hart would've done? Sure. Is it also something I should be careful with? Very much so. As accurate as it may be, we don't really HAVE to witness it.

I'm having trouble deciding whether I should keep the ending as is or change it to what I had initially planned. Even though the game is almost 2 years old at this point, I wouldn't want someone new to stumble upon this mod and end up thinking negatively of it because of the ending. So I'm leaving it up to you, the audience, to decide this for me.

"Yes" is if you think I should make it to what I initially planned, or just something different from the current one in general.

"No" is if you think I should keep the current ending.
