-SPOILER WARNING FOR THE UPCOMING AO ONI REWRITTEN!!!!-
Hello y'all, it's been a terribly long time since anything has been posted here, so I decided to break the silence for a little while.
Development has been a rollercoaster when it comes to motivation, sometimes I'll almost instinctively focus on working in the game, while other times I can't even be bothered to open the game.
This game is not getting cancelled anytime soon, however, so whoever's still excited for this game can feel good about this.
Anyways, I still have some context to share before getting straight to business: First of all, I asked some people to choose one out of seven colors, and each color was attached to an anonymous feature, and said feature would get the development attention.
The color that won was...
Red!
So I've made this showcase to reveal what was hidden underneath this color!
First and foremost...
Very iconic scene, right? The plate breaks, Hiroshi goes to check it, and that's how it always goes, right?
Well, yeah, you could just do what any game would do and pick up the Plate Shard, but do you have to? What if someone else did it for you?
Huh? What's Takuro doing in the library? Well, that you'll have to see for yourself. But anyways, if you do decide to greet him in the library, what happens?
Takuro will check the sound for himself! Why? Well, I still can't tell you, but it seems Takuro decided to take the role of leader this time!
Well, that was short lived...
But it's alright, let's just end the chase and then...
Huh? Did he get the shard instead? What are we supposed to do now, that item was essential!
Well, glad you asked! What if you looked a little closer into the plate? Can you notice it yet?
The shards have words on them! Well, you can't tell they're there because I blurred them, but to Hiroshi, he can very easily tell the shards are trying to form phrase.
But he can't quite tell what they form yet, which means he'll have to arrange them in a way that allows him to read it!
Mix and match the pieces in a way that becomes legible! And then you'll what to do next!
This puzzle is still not complete per se, solutionwise it is, but there are still bugs to patch out.
With that in mind, I think I'll bring the color poll over here. Choose a color of your liking, and you'll see what will show up in the next showcase:
