Hello everyone! This is just a few tidbits of information before we start getting really serious about this game.
First off, logs. As you have noticed, there a different types of logs we have released. This is because we want you to have an easier time finding them! For example, if you want to find info on the latest OST songs, you would look for a Songlog. Anyway, there are a few types of love you can expect from us.
Devlog: Just a misc. log for info that encompasses multiple log types, or none.
Side Devlog: Usually has little to do with the game. Sometimes a small anouncement, info about the discord, etc.
Songlog: OST info
Artlog: Sprites, Rooms, Fanart (Actually Fanart would be a side artlog)
Plotlog: Plot info
Code log: Game code/development, including interactions, text speed changes, bug fixes, anything coding.
Speaking of logs, most logs shouldn’t be that hard to find. We will try to only make a log for a major update, otherwise it will be a sidelog. For example, one new OST song, a small plot change, one piece of text in game, that’s all side devlog.
Next topic: Emails. You must be wondering where to send ideas, submissions, anything. We are currently working on a couple gmails for you to send things to. Hopefully not your spam.
Once again, the plot is not final, and the description may have big chnges day to day this month as we start to lay down the main plot. If something you love is scrapped, and at least 2 people want it, plead your case by emailing us. Thank you!
Another quick thing is the OST. In reality, many of these songs are in draft phase and will be tweaked, redone, and even scrapped. Once again, if there is something you like, like a leitmotif you made up or a piece of song we scrapped, email us and tell us why you want your music in one of ours, or why we should put a song back in. While on the topic of the soundtrack, please don’t worry if the soundtrack dissapears from the gamejolt page once in a while. To organize the songs, we have to delete all of them, then re upload them in numerical order.
Final thing! Requests! What would make this game better than to take advice from fans! Have a piece of song you want us to include? Have a plot idea? Have an idea for an area, or a bullet pattern, or anything? Email us!
