Papyrus wears a Jacket that sans gave to him and his battle body.
Sans haves his jacket tied up as a cape, and he wear sa battle body that Papyrus made when he got into the Royal Guard because the armors that the Royal Guars had couldn't fit into Sans.
Note: Papyrus isn't in the Royal Gguard.
Fun fact: Everyone in the main cast but Sans gets Deja Vu on an reset.
Funny seeing that the fandom makes sans as someone that remembers everything when they don't.
