Heya!
I’m writing a single player mode that I’ve mentioned before, and so far it’s turning out pretty decent.

The game will probably shift a bit in focus. Instead of focusing solely on local multiplayer, it will be more of a extra cherry on top of the single player experience. So far I’m trying out a game mode that I kinda like, and it looks a bit weird right now. All the hearts are objects to be destroyed and so far they are only static, but it’s not done yet =)
Also, 2 of the 4 characters have been animated by my friend Marcus, and when he completes the other 2 he will most likely help out with some additional art for the game.
Currently, the objects (the hearts) stuns the player when touched, and the duration increases each time. I am considering implementing this in multiplayer mode as well - powerups will stun nearby players for a short time to make it harder to recover from a well placed hit.
