So I was thinking of how to clean up the hud without having to make new one, as well as make the skill system a bit more transparent and a rework was the answer. Up until now there were 2 categories, Dagger skills and Gun skills.
Now there are only skills, you can initiate with the same first tier skills to get the combo going, so nothing changed there aside from aesthetics, however buffs don’t have a category now either and can only be chained, which normally would be a pain in the ass but they can also be chained from the basic attack, giving players more incentive to use the damn thing.(aside from just gaining TP)
Same with Dagger and Gun play, the strongest weapon specific skills, instead of being instantly castable, they’re only available while chained with the basic attack. (For Verone’s use only in the demo.)
