You have a glass of acid.
Every 20 seconds, the glass is 1/3 filled with acid.
Each 1/3 glass of acid can block almost any enemy hit. (You can't block Frisk's phase 2 hit)
At the start of the battle, your glass is empty.

If you play the campaign, your coins will reset to zero.
