Slave : New level design information
Hello everyone! I’m happy to tell you that I’m still actively working on Slave’s V0.2 update, it’s a very exciting update. It will include many additions, bug fixes and improvements. However in this Devlog I will tell you about futur Level Design.
I have documented a lot about Level Design through lectures, videos and books.
I will explain to you how the level of introduction works.
This level consists of learning the basic mechanics of the game.
Each piece to a utility and teaches a mechanics to the players.
The difficulty curve will be progressive
The mechanics are more and more complex according to the advancement in the level.
The tutorial will be as dynamic and intuitive as possible.
The tutorial will be the least linear possible, in order to give freedom to the player while learning to play.
