Hello everyone! I’m happy to tell you that I’m still actively working on Slave’s V0.2 update, it’s a very exciting update. It will include many additions, bug fixes and improvements. However in this Devlog I will tell you about futur Level Design.

I have documented a lot about Level Design through lectures, videos and books.
I will explain to you how the level of introduction works.

  • This level consists of learning the basic mechanics of the game.

  • Each piece to a utility and teaches a mechanics to the players.

  • The difficulty curve will be progressive

  • The mechanics are more and more complex according to the advancement in the level.

  • The tutorial will be as dynamic and intuitive as possible.

  • The tutorial will be the least linear possible, in order to give freedom to the player while learning to play.
