SM64DS - New Beginnings: "Exploring a familiar forest before Thanksgiving."


One day, Yoshi was called to the Mushroom Kingdom to join the annual Lightning Ceremony that happens once a year. The ceremony is basically a way for the Mushroom People, The Yoshi Clan, and Sky-Dwellers to get together in order to prepare for this annual event.

But Yoshi fell down the wrong pipe, and now he’s gotten himself lost in a mysteriously familiar forest. The only way he can get out of the forest is to collect a Power Star that will magically transport him out of the forest… but in the end, things didn’t quite turn out so well for him.

I don’t have a download link to this ROM Hack, but I believe it’s called: Super Mario: The New Beginning. I reviewed this a year ago, and I’ve gotta say… it’s not so bad. Of course, with a little rigging for the new enemies, this game would’ve became the Ultimate Masterpiece.
