Small Dev Update #1

Hello!

Sorry for the late update, been really busy lately (school)…
I won’t have much time to work on my games, including FF:R, but I’m currently prioritising it over my other games. Anyway, let’s get straight into the update.

Development Update #1

I’ve been working on the concept for the cinematic cutscenes that will be in the game and doing small early tests for the co-op mode. I’ve been also doing a bunch of changes to avoid all similiarities between Those Nights at Fredbear’s. The AI for most of the animatronics is almost finished, just adding a bit of tweaks to it. Right now I’m making the script along with a good friend of mine, Secundus, and it’s going pretty well so far. I might be making a few teaser traillers in the next following days, we’ll see how it goes. For now I’m focusing on the main core of the game.

As for now I can say the game is 25% ready overall. A demo, if it will ever be made, will contain the singleplayer mode with some of the first chapter. Dont get your hopes up, though. It’s gonna take a lot of time to make the game due to it’s size.

Sorry if this was a little boring to read, I haven’t done that much progress and I don’t want you guys to think that I left the game to rot right after remaking it. So thanks for reading, and I’ll see you later.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Horror WIP A track that will be featured in a future horror game soundtrack! Stay tuned!

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM

A sneak peek at the new OST, can you guess what this song will be used for? 🤔
