Smash Ringtail Cat - Project 2018 (P-18) Announcement!


Yes, you heard that right! I'm currently fixing every single bug for the original 2018 Smash Ringtail Cat game that I first released on Game Jolt (and later on itch.io), codenamed Smash Ringtail Cat P-18! It's gonna take a little while to fix, but I'm hoping to release this huge major update patch later this year. The following patch includes:

  • Variable Jump height to ALL playable Characters

  • New updated background graphics

  • Updated sprites to Dr. Glitcher and soldiers

  • Fixed pause menu

  • Fixed Climbing mechanics

  • Fixed hit detections to all playable characters

  • Other minor UI improvements

There will be fixes to the sequel, "Smash Ringtail Cat 2: Dr. Glitcher's Revenge" which still hasn't gotten a set release date for a while now, and there will be an announcement for that soon.

With this update I'm also planning on delisting the other editions including:

  • Special Edition

  • Classic Edition

  • Last Update Edition
