So, I woke up in the middle of the night, at 04:17. It was raining. I was feeling kinda horny, so I was going to ##########. But when I woke up, I realized my bed was shaking, I hid in my bed, my mom ran near me, we needed to hide under the bed to hide ourselves from the falling debris. That first earthquake wasnt shorter than 65 seconds. Then, we prepared ourselves very fast. I was wearing my shoes without any socks. I tried to call my mom from my phone, she found her phone. Then we prepared every technologic device in our house, my mom's laptops, her phone and my phone. We tried to take my cat, Ruby, (Rest in peace, Ruby, you'll be missed.) But he kept escaping from his box. Then the second earthquake, which was apparently not less than 45 seconds. We hid under my mom's bed this time. But damn, those earthquakes were very strong, they were pulling me away from my mom, they were THAT strong. But this time, we started smelling natural gas. So we got out of the house as fast as we can. We started walking. I was very shocked when I saw everyone outside, and was wondering that "How will I go to school now? My life's fucked up". Someone's animals were apparently stuck in the place they were living. When we were walking, we saw a guy, a drunk guy with no pants, I know it's quite absurd but, you know, I wasn't even caring about that guy. I was so fucking scared. To be honest, I was about to cry, but I couldn't cry. Because you know, I was very fucking shocked. So, we walked a very long road, which was probably not less than 15 kilometers. Every house was damaged. Some of them completely fell on the road, some of them were strongly damaged. There was no house without damage. We stopped at a bakery, which was strongly damaged, to rest a bit. After that, another earthquake happened, which was not less than 6, probably. Because we felt it. Then a very nice family with a car came near us, took us in their car, those people had two teenage kids and one newborn baby. So, we went to the village my relatives are living in. But damn, every road was literally cracked. The bridges were cracked too. I was VERY worried about my cat Ruby. After we got to my uncle's house, they weren't home, but they came back to home after they were bored. Then we slept in my uncle's car, to get some more sleep. When I woke up, I was in a euphoria, meaning that I was strangely feeling extremely energetic, happy and more talkative than usual, and believe me, I'm usually a talkative person. The reason I was in a euphoria is that I couldn't and I was shocked. I was being exhausting to other people, because I didn't stop talking at all. We were staying in a small village with 15 damn people. People were fucking crying because they lost some of their loved ones. But when my mom tried to talk about Ruby, I started to rage and yell at her. I was feeling very shitty, as you can see. Then I started to forget what "earthquake" meant. Because I talked about it so much. I also started to forget what day it was. Because I didn't even properly sleep. Then after that day in the midnight, everyone was going to sleep. I wasn't sleeping at all. I was THAT energetic. We got a warning that the dam might explode. Which was a lie, but we got out of there just in case. We got up to the mountain and it was literally hailing. I was still scared. At a very late hour, my mom's brother, or basically my other uncle, came from fucking Istanbul to Hatay. This time, when we got in his car, me and my mom fell asleep. Because we were obviously, tired. What do you even expect? Anyway, we got back to my house, it looks like nothing happened to it from the outside, only a few cracks. But the walls were fucking demolished by the power of all those earthquakes. We took every single book from the house, and luckily, my cat, Ruby was alive, we took him with us too. Then we took some of our relatives with us and went to my grandma's house. Again, we were not less than 15 people in that house. Then we slowly returned our normal lives.
A few of my relatives got harmed and most of my relatives died.
I hope you all understand what kind of pain me, my cat, my family and my relatives had to go through.
