So, Pace (Sonic) goes inside this Castle (or some type of Structure) to look for something, and it's revealed Both what he was Looking for, The Chaos Emerald. And what he didn't want to see... A Creature dubbed "The Shadow" (just to not get confused with Shadow the Hedgehog), Pace saw that thing and RAN FOR HIS LIFE, but he was caught, and "The Shadow" even used (and maybe corrupted them?) the Chaos Emeralds and soon even corrupting Pace himself, and when "The Shadow" came out, it even Inffected The Sun itself. Bronze and Brains (Knuckles and Tails) fight off, and soon got bound to Chains. while Chef Sauté (Eggman) is being a Motherfucker, attacking "The Shadow" (I think?) and then "The Shadow" just ripped of his Limbs slowly one by one... and so, A Blanket of Darkness, Covered The Land.
