) have all stepped down and left Magma, and along with that, I'll also join them even. Why? Well many things:
Main catalyst as to why people leave Magma:
One of the 2 things why most of my friends left, one has to do with Higgies leaving which spiralled into many people leaving, the cool people. (Which is fine and all, but seriously people just because someone left is just like Matpat retiring is shit an understatement. ) Not also that alone but him mentioning the fact that many people don't have time for Magma and it's draining them from other things they needed to do. I do see that as similar to myself during freshman. I wasn't that talkative at all in school until the school banned it, otherwise it could have broken my grade more, and it wasn't as useful in school than Scratch.
The other has to do with the drama we all have suffered during those years together, and the fact we couldn't get along well with other people. The drama had more serious conflicts and although I did avoid it most of the time, some cases I had to get involved into. This also applies before I even met the people I mentioned even on top. With some situations I've actually been I do not wish to discuss due to how bad they got/gotten, I've been through alot, with drama exposing scummy people, disagreements and most notable I've mentioned myself would be the harassment situation. Either that or just no one in Magma seemed to be actually chill. However this indeed gave me a major toll on my mental health if it hadn't already and some of it gave me trauma already.
Well this ain't all, I have more problems with the site itself that I'll mainly focus on:
The problem with the site itself :
There was alot of problems. First off, since there is so many people there's a lot of things you cannot do. You can't get enough of space, saving is hard because it also effects others artwork, not just that some of the features you have to pay yourself, not to mention you can't link things once you get unlinked, t w i c e. With reporting being added so late to the game you think anyone will use it on artspaces- Idk, yet then again It's really buggy to actually draw on clearly with an update that bugs what your drawing on. I feel even tho this is marketed as a collaborative art site, there is barely any collaboration at all and with people missing out besides artjams. At the same time the updates were very late to the game as they did when older versions like removing screen live sharing.
Another point is how I stopped making my artwork because ngl it made it made me feel shunned. Sure people had criticism of my art at one point, with me using the pixel brush most of the time while others used the actual blush (despite it being that well this brings up the fact that somehow using the paint bucket is alot harder compared to pixel brush). However at one point I'll became unsatisfied with the work I'd made, even though it was good from drama getting more important than drawing out stuff to the point where I stopped making all of my arts as highly efforted anymore, despite me getting good at making art during that time. At the same time, this happened to be the opposite of what I'm doing in scratch, making my most out of everything, and seeing it as a safe haven for my work during that time. (Funny enough, Scratch isn't really an artsite lmao, and it is ironic how a coding site just for little kids would actually make me more comfortable making art rather than Magma.)
This made me wanting to switch out art platforms entirely not just because of the drama but because it didn't fit how I clearly wanted to do art. Not from the collaborative sense, but for a creative standpoint as well, and I was looking towards Ibis. I've actually wanted to move to ibis due to other users/people I knew and followed using it on scratch ever since like 2023 due to too much of the drama. So it was actually a long time I wanted to get ibis. Since I already downloaded it on my phone, how I do compare Ibis to Magma?
Well let me tell you, once you go to Ibis, you'll eventually forget that Magma exists, in fact it's even more better than Magma with way more features. This includes the option for transparent layers (without having to change the background layer to transparent (background layer is still useful since there's two, one dark and one light) note sometimes you really need to crop), Bluring and Smudging, more hierarchy layers (where you also could find screen tones just note they start off by black), Effects which still include everything on the Effects in magma besides the graph you need to pay for, Way more useful brushes that you can use (some need an ad to use them for 18 hours but you may not care about it) with even watercolor or airbrush, and so many more. You can also connect it to your YouTube, replay speedart processes, and even animate (I suck on animation tho ngl besides scratch).
This whole thing is copied btw.
I swear tho any artsite comparison to Magma is actually better and I'm not kidding. Even scratch is better to draw on and I can be happier with my work. Yet if I were to introduce Magma out of all things, chances are it will either bore you out or drama insues due to so much of the people. I'll also say the artjams also prove a point on how little people are actually active in the site, or it's just that we failed to properly get along with each other during those years and it sucks to see.
In other words and the conclusion: Magma isn't for us as a group and myself. Not to mention I only have like 1 year before I have to take it back because it's my school account I'm using. As for all the people I've met myself there and truly cared about, I'll miss you and all the good memories we made there. But just note: I'm fully joining the people leaving. Like I'm flat out done of all the toxicity entailed.
What will probably happen next?
I'll probably say and put this to words, I'm might Download Ibis eventually to my computer, not to mention I'll still make things on scratch, just way more efforted projects because I'm alot older lol. I also have to mention I have to make one project before my birthday because school then suddenly begins the day after 
. More things to take note here there still somethings related to Sylebro's and Fishy's lore coming to the future so be ready lol, speaking of lore, Ig I'll have to fit me leaving Magma as a Canon event in the lore itself.
Anyways this is Fishy/Sari here, I'm out, no more Magma from now on.
