So I rewatched the 2002 Count of Monte Cristo and yet again, it's a masterpiece. Jim Caviezel as Edmond Dantes? Oscar worthy. Guy Pearce as Fernand Mondego? Hate him. Oscar worthy.


Everything about this movie was absolutely amazing. This was, dare I say, the perfect way to adapt a book too.

Oh yeah, and young Henry Cavill's in it too. So. 🤷‍♂️
