Deus Ex Machina: Part I

So it begins...

Hello, everyone!

“Deus Ex Machina: Part I” is the first installment of a planned trilogy of first-person mystery tales surrounding the enigmatic individual simply known as “John Doe”.

It incorporates elements from shooter, adventure, and role-playing genres with a “film noir” backdrop. It’s story is heavily character based, and one that we were hoping to tell in this format.

We would like to say that we aren’t sure anyone will even notice this page. It’s a strong possibility it will be stuck in the void of the internet forever. We aren’t sure if the trilogy will ever be completed. Heck, we aren’t even sure if this first installment will become up and running!

That being said, if we find the confidence (and time) to pull this passion project together, we are sure that with your continued support, it will become something worthwhile!

Thanks for showing up!

The “Deus Ex Machina” Team

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Today I tackled drawing different variations of facial expressions for one of the main characters in Eden. What do you think of it? :) Eden: https://gamejolt.com/games/Eden/592698

I worked so hard to get all four of them to the end safely, but then...

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

The Authority decided to investigate the Basement and leads to recovering classified documents Fun fact: The building has 928 doors and not 1000 doors. #horror
