From your feedback, we made it easier for you to respond to comments. In case you’re like us and tend to lose your train of thought in the middle of writing a comment, you can now see the entire thread while typing.

This is probably the most significant update this release. It used to be very confusing to know the context of a conversation when clicking into a comment reply notification.

Search

Our search improvements are ongoing but we did push out some changes this week that will surface better results. If you are searching for things and not finding what you expect, please let us know in the comments. Be sure to include the search query you’re using, and the content that you’re expecting to find.

Mixer support

In addition to your YouTube and Twitch accounts, you can now link Mixer as well. It’ll show up on your profile page so that others can find and subscribe to your channel.

Edit your profile and link your Mixer account now.

Because of this integration, if you’re a mixer streamer with over 3,000 followers, you can now also join the Game Jolt Partner Program.

Direct message friends!

On your friend’s profile page, you can now click a fancy new button to open up a direct message box. So chat it up with your buds on Game Jolt!

Good-bye chatrooms

We’ve decided to focus our efforts on user-to-user private chats, instead of global public chatrooms. They weren’t used much anymore, were hard to moderate, and most people are just using Discord now anyway, yeah? It’s the end of an era.

Pressy buttons

They’re so squishy now.

The above are just some of this week’s updates. We also fixed a bunch of bugs, added more recommended games and comments on game pages, and some other small tweaks.

That’s all for now! Be sure to give us feedback on our feature request forums. It helps us prioritize what to work on.

All right, time to place my haul. I need mastery of these stickers.

Oof, got three sticker packs and got super unlucky with my drop rates for the star haha. I gotta master them all though!

My grumpy dog doing yoga.

After about 6 months, I started working on my custom controller again for retro gaming!

I designed the PCBs for the analog sticks, got them made, and check them out! They fit in perfectly.

Next step, building out the whole main PCB.

Ah yes, programming documentation.

My custom-made controller. Click click.

Just noticed this on our bidet... Now I'm scared to use it.

Here we go!

Modded a Game Gear! Took a long time, but I'm really happy with the results. New screen, speakers, shell, rechargeable batteries, all that. Even has an FM radio chip in it so that when it runs Master System games, it has better music.

Ohh, what's this? You can see all the stickers in a sticker pack before buying/opening now. Finally.
