So, this games been out for some time now so I think it's about time I reveal the mechanics in full detail:


--Movement Opportunities--

Each animatronic waits a certain amount of time, once this time is up a random number between 1 and 20 will be generated and compared to it's AI level, if the number is the same or less, the animatronic will succeed and move (for example, if an AI level is 10, they will have a 50% chance to move for each loop), this timer is slightly and sometimes varies different for each animatronic:

Freddy (Default): 5s (can also be affected by his aggression variable, -0.8s per level, caps at -4s, so can be anywhere from 1s to 5s)

Bonnie: 5s

Chica: 5s

Foxy: 5s

Fox 8-3 (Phase 1): 10s

Fox 8-3: (Phase 2): 2.5s

Beta Fredbear: 5s

Golden Freddy: 2s (also has an aggression variable, -0.25s per level, caps at -1.25s, so can be anywhere from 0.75s to 2s)

--AI Levels--

-Night 1-

Freddy: 0

Bonnie: 0 (1 at 1:30AM, 2 at 2:30AM and 3 at 4AM)

Chica: 0 (1 at 1:30AM, 2 at 4AM)

Foxy: 0

Fox 8-3: 0

Beta Fredbear: 0

-Night 2-

Freddy: 0

Bonnie: 2 (3 at 3AM, 4 at 5AM)

Chica: 4 (5 at 3AM, 6 at 5AM)

Foxy: 4 (5 at 3AM, 6 at 5AM)

Fox 8-3: 1

Beta Fredbear: 1

-Night 3-

Freddy: 0

Bonnie: 5 (6 at 3AM, 7 at 5AM)

Chica: 2 (3 at 3AM, 4 at 5AM)

Foxy: 8

Fox 8-3: 2

-Night 4-

Freddy: 5 (7 at 3AM)

-Night 5-

Freddy: 6 (8 at 3AM, 12 at 5AM)

Fox 8-3: 7

-Night 6-

Golden Freddy: 2 (4 at 1:30AM, 6 at 3AM, 9 at 4AM and 20 at 5AM)

--It was supposed to be 12 at 5AM, then wait for 5:30AM to be 20, but I wrote 5AM instead, this will be fixed in a future update, so the last hour is significantly harder than intended

--Animatronic Movements--

-Bonnie-

Bonnie will start in Cam 5 then enters cam 4, then will pick one of two attack methods, the first of the two is going from cams 15 and 16 before arriving at your left door, playing metallic noises at your door, if you fail to close the door before his next movement opportunity, he'll kill you!

His second method is picking one of three paths, he will go from either cams 7, 8, 9 or 2, 3 10/11, 12 or 2, 1 and will attack the according generator, once he enters a generator, he has 3 phases, each lasting one movement opportunity (bear in mind that AI doesn't matter in this phase, he will succeed every opportunity in the generator rooms), so you have about 15 seconds to find him and press the alarm, scaring him off. If you fail to do so, your power will be disabled and you will die very shortly (you will die to bonnie on Nights 1, 2 & 3, but on Nights 4+ it will be Freddy)

-Additional note, Bonnie can sometimes change his mind, for example in cam 10, he has a 50% chance to change his mind and go for your door instead

-Chica-

Chica will start in Cam 6, will soon activate and eventually leave to cam 7, from here she will go from cams 4 to 17 until eventually making it to your office, she will make the same metallic noises as Bonnie, just shut the door on her, wait for her to ram into the door, making a loud bang noise, this indicates she has left, and it's safe to open the door!

-Additional note, Chica cannot backtrack, she has a 100% chance of progressing forward rather than entering the previous cam

-Foxy-

Foxy is nowhere to be found on the cams, until he succeeds his first movement opportunity, he will either spawn in cams 14 or 13, from this point every successful movement opportunity will give Foxy a 25% chance to charge at the door he is closest to and a 75% chance to go to the opposite door's nearest cam, when he charges you will hear him running up to the door, just close it on him and wait for him to finish knocking (if the door opens during this time he will kill you, so wait for the sound effect to finish playing, and hope that the doors don't give in lol)

-Additional note, Foxy has a special animation if he arrives at your door while the door is in the middle of closing, this is VERY RARE and requires near perfect timing to pull of lol, and the chances of foxy successfully forcing your door open during this animation is 25%, if you die to this, go buy a lottery ticket.

-Fox 8-3-

Fox 8-3 will pick a random camera between 1-17 on his first successful opportunity, he will then enter phase 2, setting off your antivirus. His movement opportunities work differently, on phase 2, every 2.5s the game will check whether or not you're watching him, if you are he will fail this opportunity and go back to phase 1, however if he succeeds 12 movement opportunities he will infect your cameras with a virus, disabling them for the rest of the night, eventually killing you!

-Freddy-

Freddy has no set path, he will roam freely to any cam he wants (except for cams 5 & 6), and has a varying chance to backtrack depending on where he is (although he generally has a much higher chance to move towards your office than to enter random rooms), he can enter from either the left or right door, he cannot be heard, he can only be seen, so keep checking the doors. If he succeeds 2 movement opportunities, he will kill you!

Freddy also has a secret mechanic, he will have a set variable called "Freddy noise timer" basically how it works is for every second that passes the amount of bars your noise level is at will be deducted from this timer (for example if you're making no noise, the timer will stay the same, making 1 bar of noise will mean the timer will go down by 1, and etc) once this timer hits 0, his aggression variable will be increased by 1, decreasing his movement opportunity timer by 0.8s (this caps at 5 levels, meaning it can bring his movement opportunities down to 1s, which is just a death sentence if you're not careful lol) this is separate to his AI level, and can make him more aggressive even in 6/20 mode.

-Beta Fredbear-

Beta Fredbear is invisible to the cams, he's still there though, just up above, crawling through the ventilation system, he will roam freely in the vents, if he reaches your office, you'll hear him crawling past, if nobody's occupying the doors, quickly disable the lights and make zero noise.

If your noise bar has 0 bars, you'll survive 100% of the time, this survival rate decreases by 20% for each bar of noise you're currently making. Your survival/death will be determined the moment he reaches the middle of your office, you can make noise again once you hear him leaving.

Additional note, If you're attempting 6/20 mode, you'll grow a deep hatred for this absolute run killer, any other night he isn't really an issue.

-Golden Freddy (Body)-

Golden Freddy starts in one of the three safe rooms, until eventually entering cam 8, from this point he will go literally wherever he want's, whether that be a random room, one of your doors, or attacking a generator.

If he arrives at one of your doors, he will either make metallic noises or silently show himself at one of the two doors, you will have only 5 seconds to shut the door on him and he won't wait around for other things lol, though this may be nerfed in future

If he enters a generator room, you will have 10 seconds to press the alarm, otherwise your power will be disabled, meaning you shortly die.

Golden Freddy also has an aggression variable mechanic identical to Freddy's, except it goes down quicker and each level takes his movement opportunities down by 0.25s, this also caps at level 5, and his minimum movement opportunity timer is 0.75s

-Golden Freddy (Head)-

Golden Freddy's floating head works exactly the same as Fox 8-3, except he needs to succeed in 14 movement opportunities instead of 12 in phase 2.
