Hello, Dizzy here. I'm here to explain what we're going to do for The Escape to Freddy's 2. And.... Yeah, that's pretty much it.
[Returning and New Characters]
So, firstly, the setting; you may have noticed the Freddy design from a previous post.

He looks like this because we based him off of the paper pal design he has. And I think you immediately know where this is going because of that.

Not only will Bonnie follow suit with this design, but the rest of the main gang (including chica and foxy) will get new designs to match this design thing. These *are* meant to be the same animatronics from this first game, so think less of them as toys/withereds and more like refurbished animatronics.
Most of all the characters from ETF1 will re-appear in ETF2. In terms of new characters, there will generally be a lot more TRTF representation in this. Dug, Sugar, and even characters such as Buster and Saber. If you're wondering where this leaves Kitty, she *will* be in the game, only getting a different name and such out of respect towards her original creator.
Sounds like a lot of characters, right? Well, there's a reason for this, and that's because of...
[Gameplay plans]
As mentioned in another recent post, i uploaded a picture of Wario from Fnaw3. Might as well not dance around it anymore; The game will play like Fnaw3.

You play through the first night as normal, but every night after, you have to choose a different room to go to. Pretty simple, however, there is a caveat to this.
Much like bondee's with ETF1, while we respect and like FNAW3 for what it tried and how experimental it was, we still think it'll need a lot of work to reach its true potential. While the basics of FNAW3 will remain as normal, that being moving to different rooms every night, we're still going to try to innovate on it to make it a lot more fun and fresh experience.
We won't elaborate on all of it (as some things might need changing + I'd rather keep some of it as a surprise), but I can at least reveal one example of this; the map.

Not just the map for the location, but new to this game is that you'll be able to revisit any room. Not all of them will be available from the get-go, but the more you beat them, the more you'll unlock. Not only will this help with replayability, BUT there will also something akin to the music box pieces in FNAW3 (although different as you could expect), so this should also make searching for those things way more intuitive.
That's all I really feel comfortable with revealing as of now. Keep in mind, we aren't immediately gonna work on this; We wanna get out Slender, ETF1 2.0, as well as one other game out first, just so we don't get tired of working on ETF. I hope you all look forward to what we make.
