Delicate components, such as electronics, are housed inside the WEB (Warm Electronic Box).
Front cameras - monochrome camera/laser system that is located on the front of the rover, used to provide images for stereoscopy and measurements.
APXS (Alpha-Particle X-Ray Spectrometer) - instrument used to analyze the rock composition and other surface materials.
Rear camera - color camera that is located on the aft part near the APXS, used to provide spectral information while imaging the APXS target area, rover tracks, and terrain.
WEB (Warm Electronic Box) - "warm box" designed to protect microver’s electronics.
The microrover is a 6-wheeled vehicle with a Rocker-bogie mobility system, that allows the rover to climb over obstacles. Each wheel has its own drive and steering actuators, which control movement and direction.
