Well, I wanted to cover some more information going on behind the scenes in Teamtinge.
Just to put it plainly, Undertinge mainly struggled with a direction for the betterment of 4 years. Why make a game that has no direction whatsoever? Answer: thought it was cool bashing my head against the wall to seem clever. (yes, very clever indeed!)
Undertinge has a direction, as it hadn't before, due to the awesome work of the team and the progress we all made as a team. I'm still the worst director in existence, no doubt about that. This new version of Undertinge, really wouldn't have been possible without the team we have now, especially these 4 folks putting in so much time, effort and love into this project!
Lucas Kioshi, BlueTowels, Toby_Dog7 and Sodafizz.
These 4 have really shined in this project, and to frankly put it, the battle system reveal probably wouldn't have happened for another 2 years.
The rework on Undertinge took about half a year! We started in April / June (maybe earlier). I am happy we finally got to show something in the end and how far we've come. The team seems quite stoked about the reveal, and I can only hope this next reveal later on will be much better!
Anyways, Undertinge might suffer due to my weakness as a leader / director. I've already got the story planned out for the project, only issue we will run into is lack of necessary team roles.
Depending on how the demo does / first act, I may stay to complete a few more acts. Act 2 is in the works rn, we're finishing up Act 1.
Pretty confident in a 2026 demo release, almost confident in a late 2025 demo release.
