Overview
We've been hard at work creating new ideas for FNAF World: The Resurrection, and a big part of a game's development cycle (and idea generation), is the mechanics. We want to take what the original FNAF World was mechanically and expand it as much as we can without straying too far from it's core. This means overhauling a lot of stuff, and making some new, fitting additions.
Starting this month, we're going to attempt to drop some new information every 1-2 weeks. This post is focused on some of the Party aspects of FNAF World: The Resurrection.
Overworld Character
Being stuck as Freddy in the overworld is probably not what everyone has in mind. So, instead, you can now select what character walks around the overworld from the Party Menu, this mechanic is completely separated from your actual party and doesn't require you to put your chosen character in the first slot, all you'll need to is just click the character icon and select "Set as Overworld Character"!
UI Improvements
In the above screenshot for the overworld character, you might notice the headings. These are going to be used to organise every character for easier searching. Not only this, but we are going to be combining the Chips and Bytes menus into the same menu as the party and naming the menu as just "Party Setup" (subject to change). Party, Chips and Bytes will have their own sections that will be accessed by clicking simply clicking the corresponding button at the top of the menu.
Party Restriction Removal
If you've played or watched FNAF World gameplay (I mean, you wouldn't be here if you didn't), you would recall that the party screen would not let you leave unless you have all 8 slots used. That will no longer be a problem in FNAF World: The Resurrection, and you are free to challenge yourself however you want with this restriction lifted!
