Bandai Namco announced a new dev studio (Bandai Namco Studio 2 & Studio S) for commissioned projects. Notably, this particular portion of Bandai Namco staff have mostly been involved with development of numerous major Nintendo titles, including the Super Smash Bros. franchise, Mario Kart 8, ARMS, and many more.
Coinciding with the above news, Bandai Namco Studio 2 & Studio S seem to be the team working on a remaster/remake of a 3D action game for Nintendo that was revealed early last year by a job listing calling for someone experienced with HD remastering of 3D backgrounds. Another job listing for the studio mentions "construction of stage specifications," "level designs," and "side-view action games" also commissioned by Nintendo, but it's unknown as to whether this is related to the same exact project.
At the very end of a video released yesterday by the creator of the Super Smash Bros. games—most recently Super Smash Bros. Ultimate—(and more), Masahiro Sakurai, it was confirmed that he is "still creating games." It is currently unknown what role he is taking this time around. Sakurai has famously sacrificed his own health on many past occasions for the sake of meticulous direct involvement in each of his game's development cycles, so hopefully this pattern is not being repeated yet again. Remember, y'all, rest when you need to.

Snagged a moment to play through the demo of Aim! Kirby's Spring Shot by @THE_INFINIVERSUM last weekend. Wanted to play it as soon as I saw it. Had fun!
This was version 2.0.1—new content has been added since.
What's your favorite game soundtrack? #GJAsks
The GameCube Animal Crossing. Nothing else sounds like it, and it doesn't ever really get old to me. If anything, sometimes it's just a little too relaxing for when I need to work quickly.
This week's Fan Art Friday celebrates Kirby! Accept the quest in your quest log to get started.
By the way, @StuntmAEn_Bob made a community specifically for 1-bit art. Would be awesome to see more activity there.
